Return and Refund Policy
Returns:
- Returns are for store credit only
- Store credits do not expire
- Store credit can be used on any other purchase in the store
- Original Shipping Fees are non-refundable
- The original email used to place the order will be credited with any store credit upon approval of the return.
Return Eligibility:
- Eligible items may be returned within 14 days (from delivery date) for store credit only. We do not issue refunds back to the original form of payment. See exclusions below.
- We only accept new, unworn items with tags and original packaging.
- Items must be free of smoke and fragrances.
The following are not eligible for return:
- Custom monogrammed, embroidered or personalized items
- Hair accessories
- Swimwear
- Plush items/toys
- Hats
- Teethers
- Jewelry
- Gift Cards
- Pre-Orders
- Final Sale items
Return Process:
Please contact us for a return authorization to determine if your item(s) is eligible to be returned.
Due to the nature of the products we offer, we cannot accept returns after 14 days. (Authorized returns must be postmarked within 14 days from date of delivery).
Order Modifications & Cancellations:
*Please note:
- Orders CANNOT be modified after checkout.
- If you are using a discount code, please use it at checkout. We cannot apply a code after an order has been submitted.
- If you wish to cancel an order for an in stock item, we will cancel the order and issue you a store credit. Pre-orders cannot be canceled.
- Any Refunds are for store credit only.
Defective items:
In the unlikely event you receive an item with a manufacturer defect, please contact us within 3 days to rectify the issue. We cannot accept defective items after such time.
Lost, Damaged, Late & Returned Packages:
- Contact us at info@cuteasbuttons.com to report any delivery issues
- If your item has not been delivered or was damaged, we will file an insurance claim on your behalf. You will need to verfiy the claim.
- If a package is returned to us for an incorrect or insufficient address, a store credit will be issued for your purchase price of the items (excluding shipping) and you can repurchase your items. Buyer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees.
- For any guaranteed delivery service (ie, UPS Next Day Air) that does not arrive next business day, you must notify us at info@cuteasbuttons.com no later than 10 days from shipping date so that we can file a late delivery claim. After such time, any claim would be denied.
- For all other shipping services that are not guaranteed, any late delivery has no recourse from the carrier. Cute as Buttons is not reponsible for late packages.
Fraud Alerts:
- Any orders with fraud alerts will be placed on hold until such time that the order can be confirmed.
- Failure to contact us may result in the order being canceled and Store Credit will be issued.
- There will also be a restocking fee of 20% deducted from the store credit issued.
- We do not ship to freight forwarders. Any orders shipping to freight forwarders will be canceled with a 20% restocking fee deducted.
Return authorization:
Before returning any merchandise please follow the following steps.
- Contact us at info@cuteasbuttons.com with your order number and return request.
- Please let us know the reason for the return and confirm that the item you would like to return is still new, unworn and with original packaging.
- Once we receive your request, we will advise you on how to proceed.
- Please note that you are responsible for shipping costs to return your items.
- If you are local, you can return the items in store to our location in Belmar NJ.
- Credit will only be issued for unused, unworn merchandise with tags.
- Please note: All returns must be postmarked within the 14 day return window.
- You will be responsible for return shipping charges for any items returned without an authorization or any items not in acceptable condition upon return.
- Orders placed for in store pick up which require shipping will not be canceled and will be invoiced for a shipping fee. Should any such order be canceled for lack of shipping payment, a store credit will be issued.
Acceptance of Return:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your store credit.
If you are approved, a store credit will be emailed to you for use on your next purchase. Store credit will be processed in 2-5 business days. Please note that store credits cannot be applied toward shipping charges. Refunds may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Sale items are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return.
